A Wedding at Old Gore Barn, A Cripps & Co Venue
Before becoming the iconic collection of stunning venues we know today as Cripps & Co, it began as a family-run business with a vision. It all started back in 1990 with the renovation of Cripps Barn in Cirencester.
The idea? To transform barns and walled gardens into luxe wedding venues with a homely feel, nestled in the British countryside — all paired with seriously good… I mean, seriously good food cooked over fire. Safe to say: mission accomplished.
As a wedding photographer, a booking at a Cripps & Co venue is always a treat. They’re all a bit of a playground for us – gorgeous spaces, dreamy light, and a vibe that never misses.
So today, I’m bringing you a peek into a wedding at Old Gore Barn, one of my all-time favourite Cotswolds venues – and you’ll soon see why. It’s also the perfect excuse to give a little love to the incredible team of suppliers who made the day extra special, and of course, my lovely couple Marissa & Jack, thank you for letting me share your love story.
The Vendors
If you’re planning a wedding at Old Gore Barn and are thinking “wow, I like these pics” here are the people that helped make it possible:

Supplier Shoutout
Little Interior Co.

Let’s take a moment for those flowers. The bridal bouquet? A total dream. And the reception florals? Simple yet so elegant — that effortlessly classy vibe I live for. The team from Little Interior Co. absolutely nailed it.
THE BEAUTY TEAM
Your wedding morning? It sets the tone for the whole day. That’s why having the right beauty team around you is everything. You want someone calm, professional, and quietly working their magic while keeping the vibes high and the timeline on track. That’s exactly what Lauren Gosling and Roxie Makeup did at The Stump in Cirencester – everyone looked incredible and felt totally at ease.

THE STAR OF THE SHOW
One thing you need to know about a wedding at Old Gore Barn is that the food is next level. Cripps & Co don’t just do in-house catering — they do fire-cooked, feast-style magic. Think juicy joints of meat cooked low and slow over open flames, the kind of food that makes guests go quiet because they’re too busy enjoying every bite. It’s hearty, rustic, and oh-so-good. The team don’t miss a beat, and honestly? It’s one of the many reasons this venue stays high on my list.

Final Thoughts
All in all, a wedding at Old Gore Barn is always a good idea. The setting speaks for itself – it doesn’t need much to look incredible. Your guests will fall in love with the space, and your photos? They’ll be full of warmth, light, and Cotswolds’ charm.
