Why Book a Newborn Photo Session
The newborn days are a whirlwind—one minute, you’re bringing them home, and the next, they’re outgrowing their tiniest onesies. Between sleepless nights and endless cuddles, it’s easy to forget to pause. That’s where I come in—to document those first yawns, the wrinkly fingers, the way they curl into you like they belong nowhere else. These aren’t just photos; they’re memories, bottled up before they slip away. And this is why newborn photography is so important.

Your home is where your baby’s story begins. Whether it’s in the nursery you so carefully prepared, snuggled on the sofa, or wrapped in a cozy blanket by the window, in-home sessions are all about natural, intimate moments. Also… Your life has just turned upside down – let me come to you!

How It Works
Relaxed, natural, and baby-led—that’s how we do things.
Before the session, we’ll have a quick chat about what you’re envisioning. Whether you prefer a laid-back documentary approach for your newborn photography, or something a little more styled, I’ll tailor the experience to you.
During the shoot, we follow your baby’s lead—pausing for feeds, cuddles, or naps as needed. No stiff posing, no stress—just real, natural moments as they unfold. Sessions typically last around two hours, allowing plenty of time for breaks and a cuppa tea if needed!
The Booking Process
Expecting a baby? Get in touch and we can make a plan together. We’ll book a provisional date around 7 days after your due date.
Fancy a maternity shoot? I recommend booking it for when you’re between 28 and 34 weeks along—prime time for your bump.
Secure your booking with a signed contract and deposit—easy peasy!
You’ll fill out a quick questionnaire, and we’ll have a final call to chat through everything. Life happens—if anything changes, we’ll roll with it.
You focus on your baby, I’ll take care of the rest. My newborn sessions are totally baby-led, so we go with the flow (and yes, feeds are encouraged).
Your gallery will land in your inbox within 4–6 weeks—plenty of time to soak in the newborn cuddles while I work my editing magic.

On the day Mi explained first what she was going to do, took out input (we had no idea) and showed us different coloured fabric for our ideas. Mi took her time and was patient with our two week old baby, she communicated to us throughout the whole session.
